Today I want to talk about Freedom Death and all that I see that entails.
First there is defining death. First introduced to us in the garden where God said to us,
"But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." Gen 2:17
This to me means if God is warning us NOT to eat from that tree and he says the result of partaking in that tree is that we will be put to death, this MUST mean that our design was for life. The intention in God's heart is for us is to live and NOT die. When we choose to partake in the tree of knowledge of good and evil, we die.
Now the fear of death did not exist in our hearts before partaking in the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. However, it claimed it's (false/unrightful) residence in our hearts. It didn't belong there, yet it was there and existed to us. In it's (false) existence in our hearts, it slew us and held us captive to it. Death however does not claim victory as peace does.
